About Kathleen Fentress Tripp
Kathleen Fentress Tripp is a Yale-educated, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner at Mind Body Seven with over a decade of clinical experience. She provides psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults, specializing in ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
Kathleen takes a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing careful listening and shared decision-making. She works closely with individuals and families to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy, and integrative supports when appropriate.

Kathleen’s primary clinical focus is integrative psychopharmacology, using evidence-based prescribing tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. In addition to medication management, she incorporates elements of:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Supportive and psychodynamic psychotherapy
- Kathleen is a member of themember of the Mind Body Psychiatry DBT Team and provides individual DBT-informed treatment as well as DBT skills support.
When clinically indicated, she may also recommend integrative medicine laboratory testing or genetic testing as part of a comprehensive psychiatric assessment.
