Psychiatric NP
Excellent position for a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner interested in psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and integrative/holistic medicine. Work in a great environment with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Clinicians who are highly skilled in psychopharmacology and experienced in providing psychotherapy are invited to apply. We will provide additional psychotherapy training, and an invitation to join our DBT team. Full-time availability and evening/weekend availability is a plus. Experience with children/child training is a plus.
Our practice blends conventional psychiatry with functional medicine, and complementary approaches such as nutrition, mind-body medicine, lifestyle approaches, mindfulness, hypnosis, EMDR, genetic testing, and nutritional testing.
We are a collaborative team that embraces the diversity of our staff and a culture of inclusivity. We are looking for someone who will share our vision and contribute to building a practice that provides high-quality care to serve a diverse patient population.
Compensation is $130 - $160 per hour/ fee for service.
Job Responsibilities:
Psychiatric evaluations and follow-up
Psychopharmacology
Psychotherapy
Work in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary staff
Attend our monthly staff meeting 1st Friday of the month and weekly supervision and engage in professional development training
Maintain appropriate notes in EMR
Qualifications:
NP
Licensed to practice in New York State
Commitment to ongoing learning
Able to commit to 3+ years with the practice
3 References required
